Great South Harley Davidson is proud to recognize our wounded warriors who have given so much in support of our country. This project has been implemented to increase national awareness of and raise funds for those who have so valiantly served in defense of our freedoms.
As Americans, we enjoy many freedoms that others in the world do not. We do not take your sacrifices for granted. You have carried the torch that allows us to "ride free" and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Please join the Great South HOG Chapter and all of our other HOG Chapters throughout the country who have already joined us in supporting these brave warriors.
Whether you ride a motorcycle or not your support is more than welcome

WOUNDED WARRIOR WEEKEND
We have been given the unique opportunity to bring Wounded Warriors from throughout Georgia to Atlanta Motor Speedway for the September 2-4 Races thanks to the generous donation of two condos. Our deepest thanks to Jim and Muriel Dollar for providing this opportunity for these heroes to have a weekend "getaway" at the races.
Friday we will be hosting the Warrior Transition Unit from Fort Gordon. We will have approximately 40 Warriors in for the Camping World Truck Series Race. Saturday and Sunday we will host approximately 20 Warriors and their spouses/significant others for the remainder of the weekend. Both groups will enjoy the races from the luxurious condos and will have access to Pit Road on all three days. On Sunday, prior to the race, we will lead a procession of all Wounded Warriors on a Parade Lap around the track. This will be lead by 7 motorcycles, flying the National Colors, the flags of each of the branches of the service, and the Wounded Warrior Project flag. The Warriors will ride in trucks provided by Southtowne Motors in Newnan, GA. Following this, the Warriors will be on-stage as Ernie Haas & Signature Sound performs the Pledge.
We can never repay the sacrifices that these fine men and women who fight so valiantly for our freedom have made. Hopefully we will provide a weekend that will enable them to enjoy some special time with their family and have a weekend that they will long remember.
If you are at the speedway, stop by our Wounded Warrior Project Booth which will be located in the Fan Zone.
UPDATE ON OUR ATLANTA MOTOR SPEEDWAY WEEKEND
The rain may have stopped the Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday evening, but it didn't stop our Warriors from their Parade Lap around the track! A great weekend was had by all. Thanks to all of the Atlanta Motor Speedway fans who stopped by the Wounded Warrior Project tent and gave donations.

Our deepest thanks to the IATSE Local 479 (International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees) for their generous donation of $14,800 which was raised at their annual charity golf tournament on April 30th at the Whitewater Golf Club in Fayetteville, GA. Their continued support of our Wounded Warriors is a true testiment to their dedication and appreciation of what our brave young men and women are doing.
